I'm Thijs Tijsma — an engineering leader based in the Netherlands with 17+ years in software engineering.

I've led platform engineering tribes, shaped technical strategy at the C-level, and built teams from the ground up. Currently I'm exploring what the future of engineering looks like with agentic AI at Nedap. On the side, I run TechSynergy, helping organizations navigate growth, technical debt, and modernization.

My background is deep in C#, F#, and the .NET ecosystem, but I focus on principles, not tools. I care about making complex things simple, asking the right questions, and helping people see the path forward.
